Job summary

Regal seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee daily theatre operations and staff, ensuring adherence to policies and high standards of service. The role involves supervising non-management employees, operating projection/audio-visual equipment, and maintaining safety and compliance across all shifts.

The incumbent will lead training, scheduling, and performance reviews while coordinating with the General Manager and HR to handle hiring and disciplinary actions as required.

Qualifications

• Public speaking abilities; effective oral and written communication with staff and customers.
• Experience with coaching and supervising staff; ability to train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and administer theatre policies.
• Train, develop, coach, and supervise non-management employees.
• Operate projection and audio-visual equipment; maintain Booth and Projection systems.
• Ensure alcohol certification where applicable and comply with beverage serving laws.
• Perform staff coverage as needed.
• Monitor risk management including safety and loss prevention.
• Count, deposit, and reconcile daily receipts.
• Interview, hire, schedule, coach, and discipline staff under GM oversight.
