Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre and ensure policy adherence. You will be cross-trained across departments, coaching Team Members and supporting the General Manager.

This role offers pathways to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program. You will train staff, contribute to reports, monitor safety, and maintain high guest service while upholding Cinemark guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Food handling training and any local health certifications as required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service and cash handling.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communication.
• Works in all departments and theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their roles.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspects theatre facilities and equipment condition.
• Reports repairs and safety issues to the GM.
• Ensures dress code compliance and customer service standards.
• Interacts with guests to deliver superior service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness.
• Reports employee relations issues per protocol.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas; uses PPE.
