Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the theatre, ensure policies are followed, and train employees across all departments.

The role is cross-trained to support all theatre functions and to provide inspirational training to staff. Pathway to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager exists after completing Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and six months on the job.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark’s MAP program (Management Accreditation Program) courses: Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core.
• Completes basic food handling training and any local/state required certification.
• If handling alcohol, complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays; regular attendance.
• Excellent Guest service and communication in English.
• Ability to train and lead others and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in staff communication.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific roles.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Monitors theatre and property conditions; reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures staff follow dress code and provide superior Guest service.
• Enforces Cinemark policies consistently with staff.
