Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run theatre operations, uphold policies, and cross-train staff across departments to deliver excellent guest service. You will train team members, assist the General Manager, and grow into Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager through the Management Accreditation Program.

This role emphasizes leadership, reliability, and the ability to manage time and respond quickly to issues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete basic food handling training and any required local/state certifications.
• Safe Alcohol Service training if handling alcohol.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance and reliability required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude with strong guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork; ability to train others.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions and communicates with staff.
• Works in all departments and all theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their roles.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports.
• Inspects theatre facilities and equipment; notes repairs.
• Ensures dress code compliance and guest service standards.
• Interacts with guests to improve service quality.
• Enforces Cinemark policies and reporting protocols.
• Leads by example and helps resolve employee relations issues.
