Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run theatre operations and lead team members in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role involves cross-training across departments and coaching staff while upholding company standards.

As you progress through the Management Accreditation Program, you can advance toward Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after six months of service. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and local/state certifications as required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for managers handling alcohol.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic, friendly attitude and excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Team environment and independent work capability.
• Able to take direction and follow procedures.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Able to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communications.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members.
• Prepares admin and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre building, parking, landscaping, equipment, and exterior signage.
• Reports repairs to the General Manager.
• Ensures dress code compliance.
• Interacts with guests to ensure superior service.
• Enforces Cinemark policies with staff.
• Reports employee relations issues as required.
• Follows Employee Relations Reporting Protocol.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas.
• Uses PPE as required.
• Adapts to cleaning tasks frequency and scope.
• Addresses safety or security issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
