Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in operating the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and standards are met. They are cross trained to support where needed and provide inspirational training to Employees.

The role offers a clear path to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. The position requires flexibility with hours, strong Guest service focus, and the ability to train others

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program (three basic courses).
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent Guest service and English communication skills.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communications.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members.
• Helps prepare administrative and special reports.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and PPE usage.
• Interacts with Guests to provide superior service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines fairly and consistently.
