Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations and ensure adherence to policies and standards.

You will be cross-trained across departments to assist where needed and train employees to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You can progress from Assistant Manager to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and proving performance over six months.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state certifications when required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for positions handling alcohol.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong communication with all ages and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Supports General Manager and communicates with staff.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their functions.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre facilities and reports repairs.
• Ensures proper dress code and guest service.
• Enforces policies fairly and consistently.
• Reports employee relations issues to GM.
• Maintains high work ethics and code of conduct.
• Ensures safety and sanitation throughout the theatre.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
