Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations across departments, ensuring policy adherence and high standards of service. This role trains staff, prepares reports, and helps maintain the physical site and customer experience.

Growth towards Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager is available after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. The position requires 18+ with strong communication, teamwork and leadership abilities, plus

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and train others in a fast-paced theatre.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Cash handling and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff.
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes and participates in the inspection of the theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, Cinemark property, roof and exterior signage, and equipment condition.
• Reports the need for building, property, and equipment repairs to General Manager.
• Ensures that theatre Team Members follow the dress code.
• Interacts with Guests for improved service in the theatre and ensures that Team Members are providing superior Customer service.
• Learns and follows Cinemark’s Guidelines and enforces them fairly.
• Reports Employee relations issues to the General Manager as needed.
• All management members follow the Employee Relations Reporting Protocol.
• Maintain high work ethic and code of conduct among management.
• Identify and sanitize high-contact areas and ensure PPE usage where required.
• Address safety and security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.).
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
