Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre, cross-train across departments, and drive policy and procedure adherence. The role leads through the Management Accreditation Program and advances toward Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills, with flexible hours and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses within MAP.
• Basic food handling training and required local certifications.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for managers, if applicable.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling skills.
• Strong communication and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow the General Manager's direction.
• Support GM decisions and staff communication.
• Work across departments and theatre functions.
• Train and coach Team Members.
• Prepare admin and special reports for the GM.
• Inspect theatre, property, and equipment and report repairs.
• Ensure dressing code compliance and guest service standards.
• Enforce Cinemark guidelines and report employee relations issues.
• Maintain high work ethic and conduct; lead others.
