Job summary

Cinemark is hiring an Assistant Manager to help run the theatre with a focus on policy adherence, cross-department support, and staff training. You will participate in the Management Accreditation Program and advance toward Senior Assistant Manager or Theater Manager after six months in the role.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, assisting in reports, ensuring safety and customer service excellence, and maintaining high standards across all departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completion of basic training and local health/food handling certifications when required.
• Alcohol service training for staff handling alcohol.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance and a friendly attitude.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling accuracy.
• Strong communication in English, verbal and written.
• Teamwork and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow directions, stay organized, and manage time.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from the General Manager and support staff.
• Work across departments and train team members.
• Prepare administrative and special reports as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and repair reporting.
• Uphold dress code and exceptional guest service.
• Maintain high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identify and sanitize high-contact areas and enforce PPE use.
