Cinemark Assistant Manager position in the United States supports theatre operations, follows policies, and trains staff. You will be cross-trained across all departments and participate in the Management Accreditation Program to advance toward Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager after six months of service.

The role emphasizes assisting the General Manager, coaching Team Members, preparing reports, and ensuring guest service excellence and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local/state certifications as required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training if handling alcohol.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and lead others; resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager and communicate decisions to staff.
• Work in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Train and coach Team Members in their roles.
• Assist in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensure theatre safety, cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Enforce dress code and maintain high customer service standards.
• Report employee relations issues to the General Manager.
• Maintain high work ethic and code of conduct for the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
