Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Theatre Team Member to create a welcoming environment for Guests and to perform essential duties across Usher, Box Office, and Concession roles as needed. You will assist with tickets, food prep, and theatre operations while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate brings a friendly demeanor, reliability, and strong guest service skills. Must be 16 or older and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification or health card where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Responds with a sense of urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operates Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions on assigned register.
• Verifies tickets at podium and directs Guests to an auditorium.
• Ensures tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and policies.
• Provides pricing, movie information, and general theatre information.
• Responds to phone calls and questions from Guests in a professional manner.
• Conducts theatre inspections to monitor presentation and safety.
• Keeps theatre clean and free from debris throughout the facility.
• Prepares food and operates cooking, warming, and popping equipment.
