Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Theater Team Member to create a welcoming guest experience and provide accurate information on movies, events, and pricing. The role may involve Usher, Box Office or Concession duties as staffing needs arise, with responsibilities across ticketing, safety, and customer service.

Ideal candidates are 16+ with friendly attitudes, able to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains required certifications where applicable.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must maintain regular attendance.
• Energetic and friendly in all shifts.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
• Operates Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions on assigned register
• Verifies tickets at podium and directs Guests to an auditorium
• Ensures tickets are sold per MPAA rating, policy and company rules
• Provides pricing, movie info, events and theatre details
• Responds to guest questions with professional service
• Conducts theatre inspections for presentation and safety
• Keeps theatre clean in lobby, aisles, restrooms and auditoriums
• Prepares food and operates cooking equipment
• Wipes down high-contact areas and maintains hygiene
• Complies with local health and safety laws
• Assists with opening/closing duties and other tasks
