Job summary

B&B Theatres in New Iberia, LA is seeking a General Manager responsible for leading the theatre team, training staff, and ensuring exceptional guest service. You will manage daily operations, scheduling, payroll processing, and compliance while driving guest satisfaction and profits.

Ideal candidates bring progressive management experience in hospitality or retail, ability to mentor diverse teams, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at time of hire.
• Willing to obtain R-Serving, Food Handler, and/or Food Manager certifications as required; company pays.
• Must possess a current, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.
• Must be available to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Progressive management experience in entertainment, hospitality, retail, or food service.
• Direct staff management experience for a team of 10+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, motivate and coach staff to provide attentive, efficient service.
• Resolve conflicts or concerns from Guests and employees.
• Monitor theatre activity and ensure proper staffing and coverage.
• Ensure staff follow company policies and procedures; maintain records and certifications.
• Process biweekly payroll and maintain personnel records; liaise with payroll vendors as needed.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude toward Guests and team members; respond promptly to requests.
• Stay current on new movie releases and coordinate with marketing on promotions.
• Monitor COGS and payroll costs to meet business objectives and maximize profitability.
