Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are being followed and operational standards are achieved.

They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees. The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark MAP courses during program.
• Food handling training and local/state certifications if required.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling.
• Clear English communication and teamwork ability.
• Ability to lead and train others.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager in daily theatre operations.
• Train and coach Team Members in their roles.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Ensure policies, safety and dress code compliance.
• Engage with guests to deliver superior service.
• Coordinate across departments for smooth operations.
