Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are being followed and operational standards are achieved.

They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees. The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age minimum.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses (MAP).
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication in English (verbal and written).
• Excellent guest service and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures policies and procedures are followed and operational standards are achieved.
• Interacts with guests to provide superior customer service.
• Enforces the Employee Relations Reporting Protocol and maintains high work ethic.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of theatre, equipment, and facilities.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
