Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are being followed and operational standards are achieved.

They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees. The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or hospitality management preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions
• Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager
• Observes and inspects theatre facilities and equipment
• Reports maintenance needs to General Manager
• Ensures dress code compliance
• Interacts with Guests to ensure superior customer service
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager
• All management adhere to Employee Relations Reporting Protocol
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas
• Uses PPE appropriately
• Adapts to cleaning tasks frequency/scope
• Addresses safety or security issues
• Performs other duties as assigned
