Cinemark Watchung and XD in Watchung, NJ is hiring a Full-time Assistant Manager to support theatre operations. You will train staff, monitor compliance with policies, and assist in preparing reports.

The role offers a path to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager through Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required; strong customer service, cash handling, and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program basic courses.
• Food handling training and local/state certification as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent guest service, cash handling and math skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Ability to lead and train others and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follows General Manager direction and supports staff.
• Trains and coaches team members in their functions.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Monitors theatre facilities and reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures adherence to dress code and customer service standards.
• Addresses safety, security and cleanliness within the theatre.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
