Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations, train staff, and uphold policies across all departments. You will support the General Manager, lead team members, and ensure top-tier guest service while managing cash handling and safety standards.

The role requires 18+ with a Management Accreditation Program background, flexible availability, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. A dynamic, customer-focused work environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core) within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Provides excellent Guest service and accurate cash handling with basic math skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflict.
• Frequent physical tasks and safety awareness in a theatre environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all theatre departments and functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in specific roles.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre building, parking, landscaping, and equipment condition for safety and upkeep.
• Reports repair needs to the General Manager.
• Ensures staff follow dress code and deliver superior guest service.
• Handles employee relations issues per policy and reporting protocol.
• Executes safety and security measures and reports hazards or security concerns.
