Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to help run theatre operations in Reno. You will be cross-trained across departments, coaching team members and ensuring superior guest service while following Cinemark policies and safety guidelines.

Your path includes completing the Management Accreditation Program and advancing to Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager after six months of demonstrated performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Basic food handling training and local health/certification where required.
• Alcohol service training for staff handling alcohol.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall theatre operations and uphold policies and standards.
• Cross-train in all departments and provide training to employees.
• Support General Manager and communicate staff decisions.
• Train and coach Team Members in their duties.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Assist with safety, security, and cleanliness of the theatre.
• Ensure guest service is consistently high quality.
• Follow Cinemark guidelines and employee relations protocols.
