Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations. You will support policy adherence, train staff, and work across all departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role provides a path to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and minimum six months' tenure. Includes opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Basic food handling training and any local/state certifications as required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for those handling alcohol.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude with guests.
• Excellent Guest service performance.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Clear communication in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Sense of urgency in duties.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Ability to resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Follow General Manager direction and support staff communication.
• Work across departments and assume theatre job functions as needed.
• Train and coach Team Members in their roles.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspect theatre facilities and report repairs as needed.
• Ensure dress code compliance and high customer service standards.
• Address safety, security, and cleanliness concerns promptly.
• Maintain adherence to Cinemark policies with consistency.
