Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily theater operations, ensure policies are followed, and support all departments. You will be cross-trained in all functions to assist where needed and can advance after completing the Management Accreditation Program.

This role requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work flexible hours (nights/weekends/holidays).
• Complete Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses and any required local certifications.
• Strong guest service orientation and ability to communicate clearly with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager decisions in communication with staff.
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre facilities and reports needed repairs to the General Manager.
• Ensures Team Members follow the dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Interacts with Guests to improve service and enforce Cinemark guidelines.
• Enforces company policies fairly and consistently.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager.
• Maintains high work ethic standards and conducts safety measures.
• Assists in safety, cleaning tasks, and handling equipment as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
