Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations and ensure adherence to policies and standards.

You will work across departments and help train employees, with progression to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and operational excellence, with a path to higher management and opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred
• Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program
• Completes basic food handling training and required certifications
• Management members who work with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Excellent Guest service and strong communication skills
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager
• Observes theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, and equipment condition
• Reports need for repairs to General Manager
• Ensures Team Members follow dress code and provide superior customer service
• Interacts with Guests to enhance service and maintain standards
• Enforces Cinemark policies and employee relations reporting protocols
• Performs other duties as assigned
