Job summary

Classic Wire and Cable seeks a Regional Sales Manager – Electrical Products to drive regional growth with electrical distributors and reps. The role is remote but must reside in Texas, with extensive travel (60%+), and responsibility for key accounts and pricing strategy.

You will lead a small team, develop training for distributors, and partner with Inside Sales and Marketing to execute regional plans and forecasts, delivering profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales to electrical distributors.
• Wire & cable experience required.
• Proven sales experience in electrical or industrial distribution.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home-office setting.
• Ethics and professionalism; able to lead and mentor teams.
• Ability to manage third-party sales agencies and travel extensively (60%+).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and sales reps.
• Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities.
• Develop, implement, and manage sales programs and pricing.
• Manage key distributor accounts and price quotations.
• Organize product training for distributors and reps.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales on pricing and rollouts.
• Support trade shows and promotional events with Marketing.
• Provide market intelligence on competitors and pricing.
• Develop regional sales plans and forecasts.
• Submit weekly travel itineraries and activity reports.
• Conduct joint calls with reps and visits to key accounts.
• Lead a team of 3–4 direct reports with coaching and performance oversight.
