Job summary

Willis Electrical, a Houston-based UL-listed panel shop, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow our Texas territory. Based in Houston or other TX areas, you will travel throughout the region and coordinate with estimating, engineering and production teams to deliver electrical solutions.

You will develop long-term client relationships with utilities, OEMs, EPC firms, electrical contractors and end users, identifying new opportunities and managing quotations from initial contact to award.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in industrial electrical, automation, power distribution, or related industries.
• Existing relationships with customers throughout Texas are strongly preferred.
• Experience selling engineered products, electrical equipment, or custom manufacturing solutions.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a CRM software.
• Willingness to travel throughout an assigned Texas territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with utilities, OEMs, EPC firms, electrical contractors, system integrators, distributors, and industrial end users
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and customer visits
• Generate and manage quotations while coordinating with internal estimating and engineering teams
• Follow opportunities from initial contact through project award and production
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and presentations showcasing Willis Electrical's capabilities
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
• Represent Willis Electrical at industry events, trade shows, and customer functions
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the long-term growth of the company
