Job summary

C. Mondavi & Family is seeking Area Managers to develop business and relationships with restauranteurs and high value retailers within their geography. These managers will focus on field sales support of our SGWS distributor in key states and cities.

Reporting to the DVP and coordinating with Regional Sales Manager, you will implement merchandising plans, drive BTG/BTB placements, train distributor staff, and deliver timely updates and reports while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years as a salesperson or merchandiser; wine knowledge a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English; Spanish a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with distributor management and sales force in assigned geography.
• Implement merchandising plans in key on/off premise accounts.
• Present BTG and BTB placements and maintain current business in key accounts.
• Establish weekly/bi-weekly/monthly account call frequencies for key accounts.
• Assess key accounts within area and develop plans to boost CM&F’s brand presence.
• Collaborate with distributor teams to achieve company goals.
• Conduct trainings and brand education sessions for distributor salespeople.
• Provide regular progress reports to DVP/Regional Sales Managers.
• Travel as needed, including weekends or evenings.
