Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive Vet BU strategy across Frederick, Hagerstown, Cumberland, and Chambersburg. The role is field-based and requires living in the territory, with ~20–30% travel and occasional weekends.

You will translate clinic data into opportunities, build territory business plans, and establish relationships with clinic decision-makers. Strong communication and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives across the BU.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, fluid, team-based environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM and expense reports on time.
