Job summary

Mars Incorporated in the United States is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive the Vet BU strategy and meet business objectives by identifying clinic opportunities within the Hudson Gateway and surrounding NY/NJ areas. This field-based role requires travel and represents an opportunity to influence veterinary clinics through data-driven selling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years sales experience, preferably in B2B.
Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs and growing clinics.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within geography.
Deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
