Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates (Royal Canin) is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Hudson Valley territory. This field-based role requires living within the territory and involves 20–30% travel to clinics across NY/NJ.

You will translate clinic data into business opportunities and build relationships with veterinary decision-makers. Develop and execute a territory plan, deliver data-driven presentations, and collaborate across teams to maximize territory performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet shared objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy and budgets.
