Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager – Royal Canin to lead Vet BU strategy and achieve clinic-focused sales goals in the Hudson Gateway and NJ/NY territory. This field-based role requires residing within the territory and travel about 20–30%.

You will translate knowledge of products and clinic data into opportunities, develop a territory business plan, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and deliver data-driven presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30%+ travel

Responsibilities

• Translate product and clinic data into business opportunities
• Develop and execute a territory business plan
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives
• Maintain CRM call and expense reports with timely updates
• Manage budget and reporting for territory
• Routinely adjust strategies based on performance reviews
