Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Royal Canin brand in the Hudson Gateway area (NY/NJ). This field-based role requires living within the territory and occasional overnight travel.

You will drive clinic relationships, deliver data-driven sales strategies, and work cross-functionally to achieve KPIs and BU objectives. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (preferred), 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred), and veterinary clinic background, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate product and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan.
• Grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to veterinary staff.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with BU and org teams.
• Execute veterinary sales strategy in the territory.
• Adapt strategies based on quarterly reviews and results.
