Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Vaccine Customer Representative to support healthcare providers with clinical information, education, and resources related to our vaccine portfolio. The role focuses on improving immunization rates and contract performance across a defined U.S.

geography. You will engage physicians, nurses and other health care professionals, coordinating with internal teams to align customer needs with product labeling and CDC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years Sales experience.
• Or high school diploma with 4 years relevant work experience in sales/healthcare.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engaging in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs and vaccine attributes with labeling and recommendations.
• Providing vaccine management updates to customers to improve patient health outcomes and contract performance.
• Staying informed on scientific, product and market knowledge through self-study and participation in events.
• Using analytical skills to engage customers in quarterly business reviews regarding their vaccine contracts.
• Assisting customers with education to improve immunization rates and adherence to quality programs.
• Regularly monitoring business performance against objectives using company tools.
• Developing a territory-level business plan to improve immunization rates.
• Maintaining product knowledge and CDC immunization scheduling across pediatric and adult vaccines.
