Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc seeks an Entry Level Used Truck Sales Representative to solicit truck sales within an assigned territory, primarily in person and away from the office. You will build a strong sales pipeline, perform on-site customer visits, and coordinate with service, financing, and insurance to close deals.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience or training, valid driver’s license, and regular travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year related experience or training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurability per company policy.
• Regular travel within the assigned territory is required.

Responsibilities

• Self-generate prospective customers and business opportunities.
• Maintain relationships within territory and make in-person visits at customers’ locations.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with outside-of-office activity.
• Document all communications, appointments, quotes and deals in CRM weekly.
• Coordinate with Finance/Insurance to assist in obtaining financing and insurances.
