Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring a Sales Representative for the Nashville/Murfreesboro territory. The role covers field-based customer visits with an emphasis on expanding the existing independent store base while driving revenue through our foodservice and convenience programs.

The position offers a starting salary of $52k during training, with uncapped commissions after training. Expect about 80% travel within the territory and occasional monthly trips to Louisville, KY for meetings.

Qualifications

• Proven success with closing sales for a variety of product lines with B2B.
• Proven and successful sales ledger travel & time management experience.
• General knowledge of food safety standards incl. HACCP and cold-chain integrity.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and profit margins through execution on sales strategy and territory management.
• Prospecting and onboarding of new customer accounts, including cold-calling.
• Educate customers on programs, promotions, and policies.
• Review reports with store managers and assist with opportunities.
• Monitor credit terms and pricing trends to ensure competitiveness.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns and new channels.
• Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
