Herc Rentals Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify, develop and nurture business relationships within the designated territory.

The role focuses on generating revenue for the branch through strategic sales of equipment and services. The candidate should have 3–5 years of outside sales experience in the industrial market or heavy equipment industry and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred
• 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer sites
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them by phone and internet
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment
• Identify customer needs and respond, considering market conditions and pricing
• Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify accounts
• Support all team members
