Herc Rentals Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify, develop, and nurture business relationships within the designated territory. The role aims to generate and maximize revenue for the branch and the company.

The candidate should have a track record in outside sales in the industrial/heavy equipment market, with strong communication and customer service skills, ready to work on-site in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration.
• Proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and respond with market-aware solutions.
• Penetrate strategic-level accounts to diversify the customer base.
