Herc Rentals Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify, develop, and nurture business relationships within an assigned territory. The role targets revenue growth for the branch through on-site visits and strategic prospecting across industrial and nontraditional accounts.

The successful candidate will manage daily activities, build a robust client list, and craft sales plans to exceed quotas. A background in heavy equipment sales and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience within the industrial market or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them by telephone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve results and goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis.
• Identify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local pricing.
• Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base.
• Support all team members.
