D2B Groups is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive business development in its commercial backup power division. You will build relationships with electrical and general contractors, engineers, and commercial end users to identify, develop, and close opportunities for standby generator systems and related power solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling to electrical contractors or commercial/general contractors.
• Experience in industrial or construction industries preferred; highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and site visits.
• Build relationships with electrical contractors, engineers, and facility owners.
• Identify needs and propose standby generator systems and power solutions.
• Manage opportunities from contact to proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, project management, and operations teams.
• Present proposals and maintain an active CRM-driven pipeline.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity.
• Aim to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
