TenCate Americas is seeking an energetic Associate Business Development Manager based in California to support market growth, develop new client relationships, and advance opportunities in synthetic turf systems and sports construction.

The role blends field work with lead generation and cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Estimating, Operations, and Sales Leadership. Expect 60–75% travel within California and growth as performance expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of sales/business development or related experience.
• Ability to participate in ROI discussions and financial concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, confident relationship builder with varied stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, organized, able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel ~60–75% within California territory.
• Identify and qualify prospective customers and project opportunities.
• Support development and execution of territory plans.
• Conduct sales calls, site visits, presentations, and client meetings with senior team.
• Engage in ROI discussions and capital planning conversations.
• Build relationships with schools, municipalities, architects, contractors, and other decision-makers.
• Maintain CRM activity, opportunity details, and pipeline reporting.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Estimating, Operations, and Sales Leadership.
