Job summary

Herc Rentals Inc. in Inglewood, CA is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow revenue within a defined territory. You will identify and nurture client relationships, rent and sell heavy equipment, and develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed quotas.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial/heavy equipment markets. This position offers base salary plus uncapped commissions, plus benefits and a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• Proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via telephone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and respond accordingly, considering market conditions and pricing.
