Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Los Angeles area to identify, develop and nurture business relationships within the designated territory. The role aims to generate revenue through client visits, networking, and strategic sales planning.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have 3–5 years of outside sales experience in the industrial or heavy equipment market, with strong communication, multitasking, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience in industrial market or heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via telephone and internet.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and respond to market conditions and pricing.
• Penetrate new accounts to diversify customer base across industrial, traditional and nontraditional segments.
• Support all team members.
