Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading exterior building products manufacturer, is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the North TX/Oklahoma territory. You will drive special‑order sales, train store staff, and maintain stock integrity while engaging with store teams daily.

The role requires proven direct sales experience in building products, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven direct sales experience in building products preferred.
• Understanding of the building products industry and home improvement retail channel preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• General knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive 50% of sales through special orders and related units in Millwork, COS, and SAS segments.
• Provide product knowledge training and demonstrations for millwork and ProDesk teams.
• Maintain stock integrity and accurate pricing; ensure planogram compliance.
• Engage with store management and staff to build customer rapport.
• Plan weekly sales activity and report using CRM and Call Reporting tools.
• Address customer complaints promptly and propose solutions.
• Share competitive insights with sales leadership to improve territory performance.
• Travel ~30%+ with overnights as territory requires.
• Conduct in-store visits, train millwork associates, and set appointments.
