Job summary

First Roles seeks an entry-level Territory Sales Professional in Meridian, MS. The role focuses on outside direct sales to small and medium businesses within a defined territory. You will receive comprehensive training and use Salesforce to manage leads and client relationships.

You will meet business owners and benefits managers to present supplemental insurance products, with a goal of new client acquisition and renewal opportunities. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level outside sales role with training provided.
• Ability to develop new business and manage a book of clients.
• Must be able to obtain appropriate sales licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a new book of business by visiting businesses in person.
• Use Salesforce CRM to generate leads and track activity.
• Schedule meetings with owners and decision-makers to assess insurance needs.
• Meet with the sales team and manager to set targets.
• Visit new businesses, build relationships, and re-service existing clients.
• Record daily sales stats and activity updates.
