Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive profitable Trench Safety business by growing your assigned territory and expanding the customer base. You will develop sales plans, build proposals, and coordinate with Sunbelt engineers to deliver tailored solutions.

You will promote safety training capabilities, maintain CRM records, and work with management to meet annual revenue and market growth targets across a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience plus 2+ years sales experience.
• Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills required.
• Proven track record in solution-selling approach.
• Ability to present technical information to engineers, PMs and executives.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and promote Sunbelt’s safety culture.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to grow business and current customer base.
• Solicit business via phone and field visits; build new customers.
• Prepare proposals by understanding blueprints and customer docs with engineering input.
• Ensure bid packages meet engineering and safety standards.
• Provide application solutions for customers.
• Coordinate project specs with internal teams to meet timelines.
• Maintain CRM with sales calls and site details.
• Achieve annual territory sales KPIs and market growth targets.
