Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate profitable business for Trench Safety by developing your assigned territory, implementing sales plans, and growing the customer base while upholding Sunbelt's safety culture.

You will prepare proposals, coordinate with engineers, promote safety training capabilities, maintain CRM daily, and work with other OSRs to build relationships and meet annual territory targets.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with relevant sales experience.
• Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills.
• Proven sales track record in a solution-selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and promote Sunbelt's safety culture.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to expand customer base and grow business.
• Solicit business by calling on regular and prospective customers in territory and via visits.
• Prepare proposals or bid packages with engineering input and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide application solutions for customers.
• Promote Sunbelt's customer safety training capabilities.
• Coordinate project specs with internal teams to meet timelines and requirements.
• Maintain CRM database daily with sales calls and job site details.
• Develop and achieve annual Territory Sales Plan with KPI targets.
• Learn all aspects of equipment and appropriate applications.
• Collaborate with OSRs to build relationships and share leads.
