Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an outside District Sales Manager to drive sales growth and retention. The role reports to the Director of Sales and covers assigned territories with 50-70% travel.

You will develop market plans, understand customer needs, and close quotes on pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, and metal roof/wall systems. The position requires at least two years in sales or sales management, knowledge of drafting/estimating, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience required.
• Preferred building materials experience in pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, or metal roof/wall systems.
• Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement viable market plans with customer analysis and growth goals.
• Understand key customers' business and critical performance measures.
• Communicate features and benefits of Retail Direct products to customers.
• Identify and pursue customer leads and opportunities and understand customer needs.
• Educate customers, interpret project requirements, and develop specifications.
• Generate project estimates and sales of pre-engineered metal buildings and systems; follow up quotes.
• Ensure pricing compliance with guidelines and policies; maintain customer relationships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize customer experience.
• Act as liaison between customer and company for issues and desires.
• Analyze and report competitive market information.
• Deliver customer-focused activities and services.
• Other duties as assigned.
