Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead and grow the Virginia, Maryland, & Delaware territory for metal roofing and wall panel solutions. You will nurture distributor and lumber-yard partnerships, drive revenue growth, and deliver customer-focused service across residential, agricultural, and commercial markets.

The role requires strong relationship-building, field sales discipline, and the ability to travel throughout the territory up to 60%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience within building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or adjacent industries strongly preferred.
• Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels highly preferred.
• Experience with estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles valued.
• Strong relationship-building skills with a commitment to consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own & grow your territory: manage a ~$3M territory and expand relationships.
• Develop customer partnerships with distributors, one-step dealers, and lumber yards.
• Drive sales growth through prospecting and new opportunities.
• Sell industry-leading products across residential, agricultural, and commercial markets.
• Support product training and contractor pull-through initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, leadership, estimating, and support teams.
• Provide responsive customer support in a fast-paced environment.
• Navigate brand integration during ongoing product/system changes.
