Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a District Sales Manager to cover Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, driving growth in metal roofing and wall panel solutions. The role manages a $3M territory, builds strong distributor relationships, and balances new business with ongoing account management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in building materials sales, a bachelor’s degree, and strong relationship skills. Travel up to 60% is required in this outside sales role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in building materials or related industries.
• Experience with dealer/distribution sales channels preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Own & Grow Your Territory: Manage a ~$3M territory and expand customer relationships.
• Develop Customer Partnerships: Work with distributors, dealers, and lumber yards.
• Drive Sales Growth: Balance current business with prospecting and new opportunities.
• Sell Industry-Leading Products: Represent metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessories.
• Support Product Training & Pull-Through Sales: Conduct customer education and contractor training.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with operations, estimating, and customer support.
• Provide Responsive Customer Support: Manage high-volume interactions in a fast-paced setting.
• Navigate Brand Integration: Support product and system integration initiatives.
