Job summary

JW & Associates client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover NYC, Long Island, Westchester, and Hudson Valley within optometry and ophthalmology practices. This role focuses on selling capital medical devices directly to physicians.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in medical device sales, a hunter mentality, and the ability to manage a large territory independently while building relationships and delivering product demonstrations to private practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of successful medical device or capital equipment sales experience.
• Experience selling into physician offices, private practices, strongly preferred.
• Background in eye care, dental, aesthetics, or healthcare capital equipment highly desirable.
• Demonstrated track record of sales success.
• Strong prospecting and new business development skills.
• Ability to manage a large geographic territory independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and private practice decision-makers
• Prospect and generate new business within independent eye care practices and clinics
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to physicians and staff
• Maintain consistent pipeline activity and territory planning
• Partner with internal teams to ensure strong customer support and account success
