Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join the Professional Tools North America sales team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. You will promote RIDGID and Greenlee brands, engage distributors, and drive growth through consultative selling and market insight.

Key duties include developing annual business plans, forecasting, and partnering with regional managers to expand share while delivering practical solutions to customers and end users in electrical, industrial, and plumbing markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven success in territory sales and achieving incremental growth.
• Experience with distribution channels in electrical, industrial, and plumbing markets.
• Ability to develop and execute annual business plans and forecasts.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive direction, coordination, and growth of utility market sales with direct customer engagement and collaboration with Territory Managers.
• Provide guidance and support to regional managers; conduct product demonstrations, training, and technical support.
• Lead strategic new product and solution sales initiatives to expand market opportunities and share.
• Develop, present, and execute annual business plans to achieve incremental sales.
• Develop and manage monthly/annual forecasts while monitoring market trends and opportunities.
